1. Our commitment
Morales Inns & Suites is committed to providing inclusive hospitality and digital experiences that can be used by as many people as reasonably possible, including guests, prospective guests, team members, property owners, and visitors with disabilities.
Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. We work to identify, prevent, and remove barriers in our websites, booking experiences, guest communications, and hospitality services. We also recognize that accessibility needs vary by person, device, assistive technology, property, and service context.
2. Scope of this Statement
This Accessibility Statement applies to websites, booking pages, guest portals, forms, email communications, digital documents, Concierge experiences, and other digital services operated by or on behalf of Morales Inns & Suites that link to this Statement.
It also describes our approach to accessibility-related questions and accommodation requests connected with properties or services that we operate, manage, market, or support. Individual properties, buildings, owners, platforms, and service providers may maintain separate accessibility information or obligations for their facilities and services.
3. Accessibility standards and legal frameworks
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our current design and development target for digital accessibility. WCAG is an internationally recognized technical framework for making web content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
Where applicable, we also seek to address accessibility requirements arising under laws and standards relevant to our operations and services, which may include the Americans with Disabilities Act, the European Accessibility Act, national or local disability-rights laws, and other mandatory accessibility or nondiscrimination requirements.
A reference to a standard or law does not mean that every provision applies to every service, property, or interaction. We do not represent that our website, properties, or services have been independently certified as fully compliant with any particular law or technical standard unless we expressly state otherwise.
4. Digital accessibility practices
Our digital-accessibility work may include the following practices:
- semantic page structure and meaningful heading hierarchy;
- keyboard-accessible navigation and controls;
- visible focus indicators;
- text alternatives for informative images where appropriate;
- sufficient color contrast and avoidance of color-only instructions;
- forms with labels, instructions, validation, and understandable error messages;
- support for browser zoom, text resizing, and responsive layouts;
- accessible dialogs, menus, buttons, and links;
- captions, transcripts, or alternatives for material audiovisual content where feasible;
- language identification and localized accessibility labels;
- reduced-motion support where animation could create a barrier; and
- testing with automated tools, keyboard review, and manual checks.
Automated tools are useful but cannot identify every accessibility barrier. We therefore treat automated testing as one part of a broader review process.
5. Booking and reservation accessibility
We aim to make search, property review, inquiry, booking, payment, and guest-support processes accessible. Where accessibility information is available and verified, we seek to present it in a clear manner so guests can make informed decisions.
Accessibility features can differ significantly by property, building, unit, route of travel, common area, and local environment. A general description such as “step-free,” “accessible,” or “wheelchair friendly” may not answer every guest’s needs. Before booking, guests who require a specific feature should contact us so that we can confirm the available information and avoid assumptions.
We may coordinate with property owners, building administrators, front desks, or service providers to respond to an accessibility request. We cannot guarantee a feature that has not been specifically verified and confirmed in writing.
6. Physical accessibility and reasonable assistance
Morales Inns & Suites supports accommodations in different buildings and jurisdictions. Physical accessibility may depend on building entrances, elevators, parking, door widths, bathroom configurations, furniture, emergency procedures, transportation routes, and third-party common areas that we do not exclusively control.
When reasonably possible and appropriate, we will work with guests to identify available options, provide information in an alternative format, adjust a communication method, or coordinate practical assistance. Some requests may require advance notice, may depend on availability, or may need to be addressed by the property owner, building administration, or another responsible party.
Guests should not rely solely on photographs or general marketing descriptions when a specific accessibility feature is essential to their stay.
7. Assistive technology and compatibility
Our digital services are designed for use with current versions of commonly used browsers, operating systems, and assistive technologies. Compatibility may vary when older, unsupported, or highly customized technology is used.
We do not require a particular assistive technology. We welcome reports describing the browser, device, operating system, assistive technology, page, and task involved because that information helps us investigate and reproduce barriers more effectively.
8. Concierge, chat, and communications
When enabled, our Concierge and messaging experiences are intended to support keyboard use, screen-reader access, clear labels, understandable status messages, and routes to human assistance.
Automated tools may help classify or route a request, but they are not a substitute for human assistance when a guest needs an accessibility accommodation or when an automated interaction creates a barrier. Guests may contact us by email, telephone, or WhatsApp using the information in Section 14.
We do not require guests to disclose more disability or health information than is reasonably necessary to understand and respond to a request.
9. Third-party websites, platforms, and services
Our services may link to or rely on third parties, including online travel agencies, maps, payment providers, social networks, building systems, communications platforms, and embedded content. Those third parties control their own accessibility practices, technology, and support channels.
We encourage third-party providers to support accessible experiences, but Morales Inns & Suites cannot guarantee the accessibility of services we do not control. If a third-party service creates a barrier during a Morales Inns & Suites transaction, please contact us and we will try to identify a practical alternative where reasonably available.
10. Known limitations and ongoing improvement
Despite our efforts, some content or functionality may not yet be fully accessible. Limitations may arise from legacy content, third-party components, incomplete property information, documents supplied by others, rapidly changing technology, or a defect that has not yet been identified.
We prioritize issues based on their effect on access to essential information and services, the number of people affected, safety, legal obligations, and the feasibility of remediation. We may provide an accessible alternative while a permanent correction is developed.
We review accessibility during design, development, testing, and maintenance, and we update this Statement as our practices and services evolve.
11. Feedback and reporting an accessibility barrier
We welcome accessibility feedback. If you experience difficulty using a Morales Inns & Suites website or service, please tell us what you were trying to do and what prevented you from completing it.
Helpful details may include the page address, date and time, browser, device, operating system, assistive technology, and a description or screenshot of the problem. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details, door codes, or other highly sensitive credentials.
We will acknowledge and review accessibility reports within a reasonable period. Resolution time depends on the nature of the issue, the technology involved, whether a third party controls the affected component, and the availability of an effective alternative.
12. Accessibility requests for a stay
For accommodation-related accessibility questions, contact us before booking or as early as reasonably possible. Please identify the property or listing, intended dates, and the specific feature or assistance needed.
We will make reasonable efforts to verify available information and communicate accurately. A request is not confirmed until Morales Inns & Suites or the responsible property representative confirms it in writing.
13. Changes to this Statement
We may update this Accessibility Statement to reflect changes in our services, technology, standards, legal requirements, or accessibility program. The current version will display its effective date and version number.
Material updates may also be communicated through the website or another appropriate channel.
