Two reasons. Platforms add their own service fee to your total at checkout; we do not, so the rate we publish is the rate you pay. And when something changes — a flight moves, you need an early check-in — you are talking to the team that runs the property rather than to a support queue that has to reach us anyway.

Costa Rica today — our properties sit across San José and the Central Valley, in Escazú, Santa Ana, Barrio Escalante, La Sabana and Rohrmoser. It is our first market, not our last: we are building a group of hotels, inns, suites, residences and villas that share one standard of service wherever they sit. New destinations go to our list before they go anywhere else.

Deliberately varied. Suites and lofts for one or two people, apartments and residences for a family, villas with a pool, and larger inns that take a whole group with a cook and driver on request. Each listing states its type, how many it sleeps, and how many bedrooms and bathrooms it has, so you are never guessing.

You receive a written confirmation setting out your rate, dates, inclusions and cancellation terms, and a direct line to the team. Before you travel we send an arrival note: door codes, driver details, the wifi, where to buy bread, and what is open the week you are here. If your flight moves, message us.

A deposit secures the dates and the balance is taken before arrival. Cards are processed on a secure gateway — we never see or store the number. The exact deposit, balance date and cancellation window for your stay are set out in your written confirmation before any payment is taken, so nothing about the terms is a surprise.

Children, always — cots, high chairs, stair gates and pool fencing are set up before you arrive at no charge. Dogs are welcome at some properties but not all; filter for “pet friendly” above and you will only see addresses that work. Tell us the breed and size when you enquire and we will confirm the details in writing.
